Accordingly, the World Football Federation (FIFA) has officially appointed Madam Pang, President of the Football Association of Thailand, to hold the position of President of the Development Committee for the 2025-2029 term. This is the first time in history that a woman has taken on the highest leadership position of this Committee.
The Development Committee is one of the most important Standing Committees of FIFA, under President Gianni Infantino and the FIFA Council, responsible for formulating policies, planning and monitoring global football development projects, including 211 member associations, and supporting continental and regional football associations to promote sustainable development.
Previously, FIFA also appointed Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan, President of VFF, as a member of the FIFA National Team Competition Committee for the 2025-2029 term.
The Thai Football Federation is in an unprecedented crisis and must operate on Madam Pang's own money.
