FPT accompanies the Ministry of Public Security in the journey of national digital transformation

FPT has just officially introduced typical solutions including: Vietnam Epidemiology and Pharmaceutical Map; FPT.IDCheck Identity Authentication; Smart Traffic, demonstrating efforts to accompany the Ministry of Public Security in promoting digital utilities for people and improving the efficiency of State management based on data.

Within the framework of the 8th Congress of the Central Party Committee of the Public Security , term 2025-2030, taking place in Hanoi (from October 3 to 5), at the exhibition booth of the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order Police (C06), FPT is one of the technology enterprises introducing typical solutions including: Vietnam Epidemiological and Pharmaceutical Map; FPT.IDCheck Identity Authentication; Smart Traffic.

The Vietnam Epidemiology and Drug Map solution is a breakthrough tool developed byFPT and Long Chau Pharmacy and Vaccination System, aiming to improve preventive medicine capacity and public health care through technology. The solution is a map reflecting the drug demand in each locality and forecasting the risk of epidemics in real time, digitized thanks to reliable input data from a system of more than 2,200 Long Chau pharmacies nationwide, currently serving more than 28 million people.

The system operates by integrating drug purchase data, encrypted and authenticated via VNeID, with the national population database. Thanks to that, information related to drug transactions is accurately compared with people's identification information, ensuring transparency, safety and convenience in management, while connecting with the national population database for analysis, making accurate and timely forecasts.

This solution brings a dual benefit: Supporting preventive health policy planning, optimizing drug allocation and reducing the burden of public health costs; helping people access drugs that meet their needs, proactively preventing diseases and saving personal health costs.

From January 1, 2025, people can buy medicine online from Long Chau pharmacy via VNeID, marking a new step in the journey of digitalizing medical utilities, bringing technology closer to people's lives.

Delegates experience FPT.IDCheck solution.

FPT.IDCheck is an electronic identification and authentication platform developed by FPT, accompanying the Ministry of Public Security in implementing Project 06 on developing national population data, identification and electronic authentication. The solution is licensed to connect directly to the population database of the Ministry of Public Security, applying advanced technologies such as AI, Big Data, NFC and biometrics, helping to authenticate digital identities with chip-embedded citizen identification cards quickly, accurately and securely.

FPT.IDCheck allows direct comparison of citizen identification information with the original data of the C06 Department, ensuring absolute authenticity, anti-counterfeiting and maximum security. Thanks to that, people can carry out identification procedures in just a few seconds when using banking, healthcare, education, insurance or public administration services online. The solution helps minimize the risk of fraud and improve user experience.

To date, FPT.IDCheck has performed more than 25 million authentications, with a total of 100 million transactions, trusted by more than 200 organizations nationwide. The solution contributes significantly to improving the reliability of online services, promoting the process of building a safe and sustainable digital government and digital economy in Vietnam.

Smart traffic solutions mark a new step forward in applying national population data according to Project 06 into practical life. At Metro Line 1 of Ho Chi Minh City (Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien), passengers can use their Citizen Identification Card with chip to authenticate and pass through the ticket booth quickly, completely replacing traditional cards or paper tickets.

The ticket booth system is integrated with a Citizen ID reader, directly connected and instantly authenticated with the national population database, ensuring transparency, safety and information security. Thanks to that, people move more conveniently, shorten the time through the ticket booth and improve the experience in public transport.

The system currently serves more than 120,000 trips per day, contributing to realizing the goal of digitalizing transport infrastructure, optimizing metro operations and creating a platform for connecting multiple public services with only one digital identity - VNeID, towards a smart, modern and sustainable urban model.

Through practical applications, FPT not only affirms the role of Vietnamese technology enterprises in the national digital transformation process, but also accompanies the Ministry of Public Security in realizing the goals of Resolution 57-NQ/TW, towards a safe, modern and sustainable digital government, digital society, and digital citizens.
