Meeting with female workers in the Industry and Trade sector

On October 17, the Industry and Trade Union held a meeting with female workers in the Industry and Trade sector in 2023.

Attending the conference were representatives of the Propaganda Department of Women's Union of Provincial Labor Federation, Department of Industry and Trade and nearly 100 female workers, laborers, and female cadres working at grassroots trade unions under the Industry and Trade sector.

Female officials and civil servants of the Industry and Trade sector attended the conference.

Currently, the entire Industry and Trade sector has 1,966 female workers (accounting for 42.3% of the total number of workers) working in 55 affiliated grassroots unions. Over the years, women in the Industry and Trade sector have always been ready to overcome difficulties, promote a positive, proactive and creative spirit in their expertise and profession, and have made contributions to the strong and comprehensive development of the sector.

At the same time, actively participate in patriotic emulation movements, preserve and promote the pure qualities of female cadres, workers and civil servants of the industry. Among them, many women have achieved the title "Good at public work, good at housework" and have been commended by all levels and sectors.

At the conference, delegates reviewed the historical tradition of the Vietnam Women's Union Founding Day (October 20); exchanged cultural performances and participated in quizzes and lucky draws.

Here, the Trade Union of Industry and Trade also coordinated with Medlatec Dak Lak Company Limited to organize cancer screening and testing for women by blood tests; coordinated with the Provincial Center for Disease Control to provide consultation on female reproductive health, gynecological diseases...

This is an activity to celebrate the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20, 1930 - October 20, 2023); practically welcoming the 11th Dak Lak Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2023 - 2028.
