Currently, the price of Thai jackfruit grade 1 (from 9 kg and up, meeting export standards) is sold by farmers in many places to traders and jackfruit purchasing warehouses at 42,000 - 43,000 VND/kg; grade 2 (from 7 to under 9 kg/fruit), the price is from 21,000 - 22,000 VND/kg, grade 3 is 12,000 VND/kg. This price is 4 times higher than in May 2024.

Indonesian red-fleshed jackfruit grade 1 (8kg or more) costs 50,000 VND/kg, grade 2 (6kg to under 8kg/fruit) is 40,000 VND/kg and grade 3 (4kg to under 6kg/fruit) is 21,000 VND/kg.

Many farmers said that jackfruit prices are increasing because many small traders and businesses are increasing their purchases of this type of jackfruit for export.
