Exports and prospects
Durian exports have recovered strongly compared to last month, with some high-end varieties increasing by about 20%. This continues to be the main fruit item in the fruit and vegetable group of Vietnam.
Since the Chinese market opened its doors to official imports, durian exports have grown rapidly, becoming a bright spot in the agricultural sector. However, import standards are increasingly strict, requiring product quality, traceability and strict plant quarantine.
