Pickleball Tournament to Celebrate the 65th Anniversary of Vietnam Tourism Industry

VHO - The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dien Bien has just organized a Pickleball Tournament to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Tourism Industry (July 9, 1960 - July 9, 2025) with the participation of nearly 100 athletes from departments, branches, organizations, units, and tourism service businesses in Dien Bien.

The tournament was organized to contribute to encouraging and motivating civil servants, public employees and workers in the tourism industry in Dien Bien.

The tournament was organized by the Department of Culture , Sports and Tourism of Dien Bien to contribute to promoting the movement of physical training and sports, improving spiritual life, awareness, belief, excitement and pride.

Thereby, creating spiritual motivation, encouraging and motivating civil servants, public employees and workers in the tourism industry to promote tradition, enhance responsibility, proactiveness, creativity, improve work quality and efficiency, contributing to building Dien Bien tourism to develop more and more sustainably.

The athletes competed in 9 events with a total of 124 matches. The participating delegations had invested in training carefully, the athletes' professional level and physical strength were quite even, the matches were exciting, dramatic, with high professional quality, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity - honesty - nobility.

As a result, the Organizing Committee awarded Cups to 9 pairs of athletes who won first place. Medals and prizes were awarded to pairs of athletes who won first, second and third place for each competition.
