On the afternoon of February 9 (December 30), Colonel Nguyen Thanh Tuan, Director of Thua Thien - Hue Provincial Police, led a working delegation to inspect, give gifts, and wish a happy new year to traffic police officers, fire police and rescue forces who are on duty to protect people's peace during Tet.

The working delegation visited the Traffic Police Station of Huong Thuy Town Police in Thuy Phu Commune and the Traffic Police Station of the Traffic Police Department of Thua Thien - Hue Provincial Police.

Here, Colonel Nguyen Thanh Tuan acknowledged, commended and highly appreciated the proactiveness of the units in advising and organizing the implementation of plans and projects to ensure traffic order and safety on the route.

At the same time, units are required to continue to seriously and effectively implement plans, work orders and directions of local Party committees and authorities on ensuring security, order and traffic safety.

The Director of Thua Thien - Hue Provincial Police requested working groups to control traffic safety violations in the area, including strictly handling violations of alcohol and drug concentrations... in the spirit of New Year's Eve and Tet holidays with the goal of human life being above all, determined not to let serious and especially serious traffic accidents occur before, during and after the Lunar New Year 2024.

Colonel Nguyen Thanh Tuan also requested the traffic police force to strengthen patrol and control work, promptly detect and fight against all types of crimes and social evils while performing their duties.

On the same day, the delegation also visited, encouraged and presented gifts to the fire police and rescue force of Thua Thien - Hue Provincial Police.
