According to the Plan for organizing the Ho Chi Minh City International Martial Arts Festival in 2025, which has just been issued by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, the Festival is organized to contribute to promoting the City's foreign affairs activities to take place in a vibrant and rich manner and increase the number of international delegations to the City, expand cooperation between businesses and units of the City with foreign partners, develop the sports economy , contribute to the socio-economic growth of the City. At the same time, introduce the image of Ho Chi Minh City's sports and martial arts federations, affirm the position of the City's sports, attract domestic and foreign tourists.

Following the success of the Ho Chi Minh City International Martial Arts Festival 2024, this year, the Festival will organize many exchange activities of martial arts: Vovinam, Traditional Martial Arts, Taekwondo, Karatedo, Judo, Kendo, Lion and Dragon Dance, Muay, Aikido, Pencak Silat, Arnis, Wushu, Jujitsu, MMA and the main stage area, along with accompanying activities and programs.
The festival was organized with many new highlights with the magnificent Stage Honoring Vietnamese Martial Arts, opened with 100 battle drums, 100 martial artists, dancers, combined with traditional musical instruments (drums, gongs, flutes) and contemporary martial arts music. "Martial Arts - Digital Intelligence" area with AI Tri Luc Master application in martial arts training, virtual reality (VR) experience of moves, "digital martial artist" data exhibition - the platform for digital sports. Martial Arts and Folk Culture Avenue: Street stage, experiential games, KOL exchanges, busking music performances and nightly livestreams. Space combining martial arts, culture and ethnic cuisine; mobile booths introducing Vietnamese brands and street art for people to experience. Ho Chi Minh City Martial Arts History Wall: Displaying images, weapons, martial arts uniforms, martial arts cultural heritage.
In addition, there are international seminars on martial arts in the new era, with the theme "Vietnamese martial arts in Ho Chi Minh's national strategy"; International martial arts competition; Specialized seminars (training) for each martial art; "Saigon Warriors" competition for students and young people, creating a creative playground, connecting the martial arts community; Creative communication program - Spreading the image of Saigon - Ho Chi Minh City Martial Arts...
The Ho Chi Minh City International Martial Arts Festival 2025 is an international event, bringing together martial arts troupes from many continents for the first time, in addition to typical domestic units. The event not only promotes the image of a friendly, peace-loving Vietnam but also contributes to promoting international cultural exchange through the language of martial arts.
