Cultural and academic exchanges between the delegation of the Communist Party of China and representatives of experts, scholars and intellectuals of Vietnam

On the morning of January 11, comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department, and comrade Ly Thu Loi, Politburo member, Secretary of the Secretariat, Head of the Central Propaganda Department of the Communist Party of China, co-chaired a cultural and academic exchange seminar on the topic "Intellectuals and artists contribute to building socialism and strengthening the Vietnam-China friendship", with the presence of many Vietnamese experts, scholars, intellectuals, artists and painters.

At the seminar, the two sides had in-depth exchanges, shared views, and learned from each other's experiences in the fields of economics , politics, society, literature, and art.

Comrade Ly Thu Loi highly appreciated the research achievements of Vietnamese experts, scholars and intellectuals in various fields, which have actively contributed to the development of Vietnam-China friendly relations; relevant agencies of the Chinese side are willing to further strengthen exchanges with the Vietnamese side on issues of mutual concern.

Concluding the seminar, comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia expressed his belief that cooperation between the two Parties and two countries in the fields of culture and academia will enhance mutual understanding and trust, further tighten the friendly relations between the two peoples, and contribute to building an international community based on understanding, respect and close cooperation.
