Google Play promotes innovation and technology exports through the “Made in Vietnam” collection

(NLDO) - On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day, Google Play officially announced the "Made in Vietnam" collection to honor Vietnam's technological talent.

Google also introduced Vietnam's leading game developers, who are bringing their creativity to serve users in Vietnam and around the world .

This initiative demonstrates Google's commitment to supporting the local developer community and promoting high-value technology exports.

Google Play launches “Made in Vietnam” Collection, promoting creativity of domestic game developers

The collection will be available on the Google Play Games homepage from September 2, 2025 , and will include carefully selected titles that reflect the diverse creativity of Vietnamese studios. Users can explore light puzzle games, games that evoke Vietnamese culture in a modern style, or dramatic arcade shooting titles. This creation comes from many prominent names such as Falcon Game Studio, VNG Games and Spirit Bomb , which are recognized for their innovative spirit and outstanding quality. The collection will also be updated regularly to bring new experiences to the gaming community.

According to Public First’s 2024 report, Vietnamese developers recorded 6.15 billion app downloads , of which 5.7 billion came from international sources , generating VND2 trillion ($78.6 million) in revenue . “Made in Vietnam” mobile apps and games currently account for 10.7% of total global downloads , demonstrating the growing influence of Vietnamese creativity on the digital technology map.

Mr. Le Quang Tu Do , Director of the Department of Radio, Television and Electronic Information (ABEI), commented: “This collection not only honors talent but also affirms the support of the Government and technology partners in turning Vietnam into a center for high-value technology exports. This is a source of inspiration for the next generation of creators.”

Featured games in the "Made in Vietnam" Collection supported by Google for release in Vietnam and globally include: Goods Puzzle - Sort Challenge; ZingPlay Horse Chess; Sky Garden; Screw Puzzle - Wood Nut & Bolt; Sky Champ - Sky Shooter; Dragon Wings - Space Shooter; 1945 Air Force - Airplane Games.
