Hanoi first appeared in Counter-Strike 2

Transit, the latest map added by Valve to the game Counter-Strike 2, is designed with inspiration from the capital city of Hanoi.

On the morning of October 2, Valve released a major content update for the shooting game Counter-Strike 2 (CS 2), focusing on enriching the inventory with the addition of many decorative items such as new Charms and Stickers. The scene features an old locomotive parked in the middle of the neighborhood. This detail recreates the image of Hanoi's train street (Phung Hung), where trains run close to residential areas. According to information from Steam , this unique Transit map is the result of a collaboration between a group of international game designers, including members from Russia, Ukraine and Norway. The author group also received significant support from many Vietnamese CS 2 gamers during the completion process.
