Receiving support to overcome the consequences of natural disasters

On the morning of October 4, at the point of receiving and distributing emergency relief goods for storm No. 10, Ha Giang 2 ward, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tuyen Quang province and the Provincial Red Cross Society received support from Quang Minh commune and Tien Thang commune (Hanoi city).

Welcoming the delegation were comrades: Mai Duc Thong, member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Tuyen Quang Newspaper and Radio and Television; leaders of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the Provincial Red Cross Society.

Quang Minh commune, Tien Thang commune and sponsoring units presented support funds to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province and the Provincial Red Cross Society.

Through the appeal, Quang Minh and Tien Thang communes mobilized 515 million VND to support Tuyen Quang province in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, including 90 million VND in cash and 425 million VND in goods.

The representative of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Minh commune shared the difficulties that Tuyen Quang province encountered in the storm No. 10. This is also the sentiment of the cadres and people of Quang Minh and Tien Thang communes and the sponsors and philanthropists who joined hands to contribute to share with the people in the disaster-stricken areas. Thereby, they hope to contribute more motivation for the people in the disaster-stricken areas to soon overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

Hanoi Milk Joint Stock Company donated 1,000 dairy products to support Tuyen Quang.

Chairman of the Provincial Red Cross Society Nguyen Hoang Long respectfully acknowledged and thanked the timely cooperation and contributions of the collectives of Quang Minh and Tien Thang communes, individuals and businesses. At the same time, he affirmed that all support resources will be received and allocated publicly and transparently to the people in the disaster area.
