(Dan Tri) - The minimum score for admission by considering the 2025 high school graduation exam scores to universities in the South ranges from 15 to 24 points.

The Ministry of Education and Training has announced the 2025 high school graduation exam scores. Immediately after that, universities also officially announced the threshold to ensure input quality (admission floor score).

Hong Bang International University

The minimum score for the method of considering high school graduation exam results and the admission method combining high school graduation exam scores with grade 12 transcripts (1 transcript subject + 2 high school graduation exam subjects) is 15 points.

The above scores apply to all regular university training majors in all major groups; including two majors in the health field: public health and nutrition and majors in other fields.

Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry

At the main campus in Ho Chi Minh City, the method of considering the results of the competency assessment exam organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University, the mass program takes the floor score from 650 points (without multiplying the coefficient; not adding priority points and not applicable to the group of law majors).

For regular universities with English-enhanced programs, the minimum score to receive applications is 600 points (without coefficient; priority points not included and not applicable to law majors).

For the law group, the minimum score for admission is 720 points, and the minimum Vietnamese and math scores are 180.

The threshold for receiving application documents for admission using the 12th grade high school academic results combined with outstanding achievements (if any) requires the total score of 3 subjects (without coefficient; not including priority points, bonus points) in the admission combination to be at least 21 points.

For the law group, the minimum admission score for math and literature is 6.0 points.

For the pharmaceutical industry, the threshold for receiving applications is a total score of 3 subjects in the admission combination of 24 points and having a good grade 12 academic performance.

At Quang Ngai branch, the method of considering the results of the capacity assessment exam organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University must achieve 600 points or higher.

The threshold for receiving application documents is based on the 12th grade high school academic results combined with outstanding achievements (if any). The threshold for receiving application documents is the total score of 3 subjects (without coefficient, without adding priority points, bonus points) in the admission combination, at least equal to 19 points.

Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology

The minimum score for the four admission methods is 15 points and 18 points.

Specifically, for the method of considering transcripts (methods 2 and 3), the school takes from 18 points and 15 points for the method of considering high school graduation exam results and considering the results of the Ho Chi Minh City National University's capacity assessment exam/VSAT exam (score converted to a 30-point scale).

Hoa Sen University

The minimum score according to the admission method based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam is from 15 to 17 points.

The minimum score for admission based on transcript results is 18 points or higher with 3 forms of score consideration: Admission based on transcript results of 3 semesters of high school; Admission based on transcript results of a combination of 3 subjects; Admission based on transcript results of 6 semesters of high school.

The minimum score according to the National University of Ho Chi Minh City's Competency Assessment test is from 600 points and that of the National University of Hanoi is from 67 points. The converted score on the 30-point scale of the Ministry of Education and Training is 15 points.

The minimum score for admission by interview with the Industry Council and direct admission method as prescribed by Hoa Sen University is 18 points or higher (30-point scale).

University of Finance and Marketing

The general entrance threshold for all majors is 15 points. This is the total score of 3 subjects in the admission combination from the 2025 high school exam with the condition that no subject is below 1.0 point.

For economic law, the additional requirement is a math score of 6.0 or higher or a math/literature score of 6 or higher if both are included in the admission combination.

Admission scores will not be multiplied by coefficients and will be rounded to 2 decimal places.

Before 5:00 p.m. on July 23, candidates can follow the conversion of equivalent scores between admission methods at the school's admission portal.

Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance

The school said that the minimum score for admission based on high school graduation exam results will decrease by 1-4 points compared to 2024, depending on the training major. Specifically, the minimum score for receiving applications for all 41 majors is 15 points.

With the method of considering grade 12 transcripts according to a combination of 3 subjects and considering the average score of the entire grade 12 transcript, the score for receiving application documents is 18.

Regarding the results of the Ho Chi Minh City National University's aptitude test, the school's admission score is 600/1,200 points, and the V-SAT exam is 225/450 points.

University of Industry and Trade

The expected minimum score for 37 majors based on high school graduation exam results is 16 points, without coefficient, without adding priority points.

According to the admission method of Ho Chi Minh City National University, the school has a score of 600/1,200 points for receiving applications. Particularly for the law group, the threshold to ensure input quality is a minimum total score of 720 points, a minimum Vietnamese score of 180 points, and a minimum math score of 180 points.

The official score will be announced by the school after the Ministry of Education and Training issues general regulations.

Nguyen Tat Thanh University

The expected admission score for law and economics is 18 points based on high school graduation exam scores and 18.5 points based on academic records.

Other majors (except health sector) receive 15 applications based on high school graduation exam scores, 18 applications based on academic records, 550 applications based on Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment scores, and 70 applications based on Hanoi National University's competency assessment scores.

University of Information Technology (UIT)

The school expects the floor score to be 22.5-24 based on the 2025 high school graduation exam results, the highest being for the microchip design major.

With the method of considering the capacity assessment test scores organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University, the school expects to receive applications with scores of 700/1,200 or higher.

For health and education majors in all schools, the threshold for ensuring input quality by considering high school graduation exam scores is implemented according to separate regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
