Ambassador Giang described the photo: "At this moment, in the middle of Times Square, New York City." He also thanked Nasdaq for joining in Vietnam's anniversary.

Nasdaq Marketsite is located in Times Square, the busiest center in New York City, USA.

On the morning of April 30, in Ho Chi Minh City, the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day took place. This is a historic event of great significance, with the participation of senior leaders of the Party, State, National Assembly , Government, Vietnam Fatherland Front, and international leaders and representatives.

According to VNA, recently, Nexstar Media Company cooperated with Emerson College to conduct a public opinion poll to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War (PV - the resistance war against the US to save the country).

A poll published in the Hill newspaper found that American public opinion viewed the war as the most unjust conflict of the last century.

Specifically, 44% of adults surveyed said the Vietnam War was unjust, while 50% of respondents said they still had no clear idea of what the United States was fighting for in Vietnam.

About 25% of the survey respondents were US veterans of the Vietnam War. Of these veterans, 46% said the conflict was unjust.

"Overall, Americans tell us that the United States should not have gotten involved in a conflict that claimed the lives of more than 58,000 military personnel and many, many Vietnamese soldiers and civilians," said Spencer Kimball, director of the Emerson College poll.

According to the survey results, 43% of respondents said that the US has not yet learned its lesson and is still not more cautious when participating in foreign conflicts.
