On the evening of October 13 (local time) in Hong Kong (China), the World Travel Awards honored Vietnam in two important categories: "Asia's Leading Destination 2025" and "Asia's Leading Heritage Destination 2025".
This is the 7th time Vietnam has been awarded the title of Asia's Leading Destination and the 3rd time it has won the award for Asia's Leading Heritage Destination.
In addition, a series of destinations also won important awards.
Hanoi was awarded the titles of “Asia's Leading City Destination 2025” and “Asia's Leading City Break Destination 2025”.

Ninh Binh was honored as "Asia's Leading Emerging Tourist Destination 2025".
Tam Chuc (Ha Nam) was awarded "Asia's Leading Cultural Tourist Destination".
Moc Chau won the award for “Asia's Leading Regional Natural Destination 2025”, while Phong Nha - Ke Bang continued to affirm its class with the title “Asia's Leading National Park 2025”.
Notably, Ho Chi Minh City won the double title of “Top MICE Destination” and “Top Festival and Event Destination in Asia”, while the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism was honored as “Top City Tourism Agency in Asia”.
Vung Tau was awarded “Asia's Leading Coastal Resort Destination”.
Regarding tourism, Vietravel was honored as "Asia's Leading Tour Operator".
Sun Group affirmed its position as a leading tourism and resort group when it was awarded the awards "Asia's Leading Integrated Tourism Group" and "Asia's Leading Tourism and Hotel Development Unit".
Sun World Ba Na Hills and Mercure Danang French Village Bana Hills continue to be honored in the categories of the region's leading theme park and themed resort.
In the aviation sector, Vietnam Airlines was honored as “Asia's Leading Airline”, while its Lotusmiles loyalty program won the award for “Asia's Leading Loyalty Program”.
Vietjet Air received the “Asia's Leading Customer Experience” award, while Vietravel Airlines was awarded the title “Asia's Leading Leisure Airline”.
Bamboo Airways was honored as “Asia's Leading Regional Airline”.
Hai Au Seaplane Airlines also participated with the award "Asia's Leading Seaplane Operator".
Vietnam's tourism brands, accommodation facilities and products were also honored in many top regional categories.
According to the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, the award from World Travel Awards is not only a recognition of achievements, but also a motivation for Vietnamese tourism to continue to affirm its position in the future.
In the context of increasingly fierce regional and global tourism competition, maintaining cultural identity, conserving natural resources, developing international standard services and constantly innovating will be the "golden key" for Vietnamese tourism to continue to shine.
