Emergency financial support for Thai Nguyen, Cao Bang, Lang Son and Bac Ninh provinces to overcome flood consequences

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has just signed and issued Decision No. 2221/QD-TTg on providing emergency funding support for the provinces of Thai Nguyen, Cao Bang, Lang Son and Bac Ninh to overcome the consequences of floods.

Accordingly, the Prime Minister decided to support 140 billion VND (One hundred and forty billion VND) from the central budget reserve in 2025 for 4 localities to promptly provide relief and support to people and initially overcome the consequences of floods, including: Thai Nguyen 50 billion VND, Cao Bang 30 billion VND, Lang Son 30 billion VND and Bac Ninh 30 billion VND) as requested by the Ministry of Finance in Official Dispatch No. 15559/BTC-NSNN dated October 8, 2025.

The People's Committees of Thai Nguyen, Cao Bang, Lang Son and Bac Ninh provinces are responsible for managing and using the above-mentioned additional funds, ensuring compliance with the provisions of the law on state budget and other relevant legal documents, ensuring the correct purpose of use, correct objects, publicity, transparency, no loss or negativity; at the same time, report the results of use to the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and relevant agencies for synthesis and reporting to the Prime Minister.

This Decision comes into force from the date of signing.
