- The year 2024 marks a turning point in Ngoc Quynh's life when she was crowned Miss Tourism Vietnam 2024. Surely this year's Tet for Quynh will be very different?
- You're right, it must be said that 2024 was a year full of changes for Quynh and most of that change came from when Quynh was crowned Miss Vietnam Tourism. Until now, sometimes Quynh still can't believe she did it. Quynh is still trying every day to be worthy of the title.
Of course, going home for Tet is a given, even though Quynh is busier with her tourism ambassador projects. No matter how busy she is, Quynh still wants to spend Tet with her family, parents, and relatives because Tet is for reunion.
- What are your memories of Tet in Hai Duong ?
- Memories of Tet in Hai Duong for Quynh are peaceful.
Quynh remembers that when she was a child, she was very happy because on Tet she got to wear new clothes and go with her family to wish her grandparents and relatives a happy new year. On the third day of Tet, Quynh and her friends went to visit teachers at Nguyen Trai High School for the Gifted.
I was very impressed with the tradition of going to pagodas in early spring in Hai Duong. I went with my parents to the Con Son - Kiep Bac spring festival, to visit Chu Van An temple, Tranh temple, Dong Cao pagoda... These are all places that attract people to come to enjoy spring, remember famous people, and pray for good luck in the new year.
- After being crowned Miss Tourism Vietnam 2024, Quynh is certainly planning many tourism promotion activities during her term?
- Looking back, Quynh feels a bit regretful. Quynh estimates that she has only fulfilled about 60% of her expectations, because external influences have prevented her from having the opportunity to realize her tourism promotion projects.
As you know, storm number 3 ( Yagi ) has affected many people, Quynh is no exception. Quynh had to temporarily suspend many tourism promotion plans in some localities, including Hai Duong. Instead, Quynh focused on charity projects to support areas heavily affected by the storm.
Currently, Quynh has promoted tourism activities in a number of localities. Particularly in Hai Duong, Quynh has worked with the Hai Duong Newspaper team to make a number of clips promoting destinations and specialties of her hometown.
In the new year, Quynh will continue to carry out a number of projects to spread the most unique imprints of Hai Duong culture, attractive destinations, contributing to helping Hai Duong leave a deeper mark on the tourism map of Vietnam.
- So 2025 will definitely be a busy year for the beauty queen?
- In the second year of her term as beauty queen, Quynh wants to make a bigger impression and can set higher goals to spread the values she represents.
Quynh hopes to inspire young people by promoting career guidance activities, encouraging a positive spirit and self-development...
Along with her role as beauty queen, Quynh hopes to build her own brand, by participating in fashion, art or launching personal business projects.
And of course, to achieve those goals, Quynh really needs encouragement from her hometown.
For Quynh, Hai Duong is not only her birthplace but also an endless source of inspiration - from the people, culture to the very unique beauty that Quynh always carries in her heart.

Miss Vietnam Tourism Pham Thi Ngoc Quynh was born in 1998, in Hai Tan ward (Hai Duong city). She is a former English major student at Nguyen Trai High School for the Gifted. At the final night of the Miss Vietnam Tourism 2024 contest, she excelled over 37 contestants to win the crown.
