Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Journalists Association Nguyen Bao Lam said: The Spring Newspaper Festival introduces to readers nearly 1,000 Spring newspaper publications of the Central Government, Thai Nguyen Province and localities nationwide; displays books about the Communist Party of Vietnam ; Studying and following the moral example and style of Ho Chi Minh; introducing special photos of the homeland, country and people of Thai Nguyen.

This year, the Duom Temple Festival and the Spring Festival were held on a large scale. From the morning of the 5th day of the Lunar New Year 2024, many activities within the framework of the Duom Temple Festival were deployed, starting with the water and soil procession from the Doi well to the Trung Temple, which is an important religious activity, praying for the sacred land to become more prosperous, for people and families to be peaceful and develop.

The Duom Temple Festival also includes an incense offering ceremony of communes and towns in Phu Luong district to pay homage to Saint Duom; a contest to display and decorate the offering trays to pay homage to Saint Duom; a contest to pound sticky rice cakes and wrap square sticky rice cakes; a display of local agricultural products and OCOP products; a contest to perform traditional costumes and folk games imbued with national identity.
