Women's Union of Krong Pac commune: Continue to effectively implement the movement "Building Dak Lak women in the new period"

In recent times, women in Krong Pac commune have actively participated in patriotic emulation movements and union activities, making practical contributions to the process of building and developing the economy , culture and society, ensuring national security and defense of the commune and achieving the goal of gender equality. The women's movement and activities of the Women's Union have been innovated in form and content according to the motto of orienting towards the branches, gradually meeting the needs and aspirations of members and women.

In the period of 2020 - 2025, the Commune Women's Union has focused on exploiting resources to support women in economic development, capacity building, and active participation in new rural construction. The Women's Union has coordinated to organize 10 training sessions on science and technology transfer; consulting, vocational training, and job referrals for 1,213 workers; helping 15 women start businesses and start businesses to develop the economy; helping 1,068 households to borrow capital and effectively use loans from the Social Policy Bank with a total outstanding debt of over 40.6 billion VND.

Many models and tasks have been implemented in accordance with local characteristics, with wide influence in the community, and have been recognized and highly appreciated by local Party committees and authorities.

In 5 years, the Commune Women's Union has developed 1,130 members, bringing the total number of members in the commune to 7,368; the rate of attracting members aged 18 and over is over 60%. The Union has organized incentives, visits and gifts on holidays and Tet with the amount of 300 million VND; visited and gave gifts to 250 new recruits with the amount of 25 million VND; connected and sponsored 7 orphans in difficult circumstances.

The movement “Building Dak Lak women of the new era” has been widely deployed in conjunction with continuing to promote the study and following of Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style. The role of the association in social criticism, participating in monitoring the implementation of laws and policies on gender equality has gradually changed, contributing to caring for and protecting the legitimate and legal rights of women.

The Congress passed a Resolution with 6 basic target groups and 5 key tasks for the 2025 - 2030 term. Accordingly, every year, the Women's Union of Krong Pac commune strives to mobilize and support 10 women to start businesses and start businesses; support the establishment of women's groups and associations; effectively help 5 near-poor and disadvantaged households headed by women to escape near-poverty and have stable jobs; coordinate training, vocational training, counseling, and job referrals for 50 workers; each branch mobilizes and supports 1-2 more households to meet the criteria of "family of 5 haves, 3 cleans" or "5 haves, 3 cleans"... The Women's Union of Krong Pac commune also strives to increase its membership by 1-2% each year; 50% of branch presidents who are not party members are eligible to be trained, introduced, and developed for the party.

The Congress announced the decision to appoint the Executive Committee of the Women's Union of Krong Pac commune, term I, 2025 - 2030, consisting of 39 members. Ms. Duong Thi Anh Nguyet, Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Krong Pac commune, was appointed as President of the Women's Union of Krong Pac commune.
