The 1st Congress of Women's Delegates of Quang Phu Commune, term 2025 - 2030

On the afternoon of October 18, the Women's Union of Quang Phu commune held the 1st Congress of Women's Delegates of the commune, term 2025 - 2030.

Attending the event were Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Dung, Member of the Standing Committee of the Dak Lak Provincial Women's Union; Mr. Doan Trung Viet, Deputy Secretary of the Commune Party Committee, and 110 official delegates, representing more than 7,436 female members in the commune.

The Women's Union of Quang Phu commune has 37 branches, with a total of 7,436 members. In the period of 2021-2025, women's union members of Quang Phu commune will unite and strive to effectively carry out patriotic emulation movements, campaigns, and key tasks of the Union.

The Association has established 3 models of “Safe – Green – Clean – Beautiful and Identity Family”; maintained 15 “Healthy – Beautiful Women” clubs; 2 folk dance practice teams; 4 volleyball teams… for women to improve their knowledge, cultivate morality, and practice health.

Contributing to the construction of new rural areas and civilized urban areas, each year the Association builds 2 models of "Lighting up the countryside roads"; 2 models of "Flag routes, associated with billboards", 11 projects to restore and preserve water wharves, 2 models of "Collecting scrap to raise funds to support women and children in difficult circumstances", maintaining 26 women's self-managed roads, planting and caring for trees, and 15 tree-lined roads.

Learning and following Uncle Ho's example, the Women's Union of Quang Phu commune practices saving to help each other develop the economy and improve their lives through groups and teams of "women saving to help each other", "Revolving capital contribution" groups/teams, "Working groups to help each other", "Raising piggy banks to save"... The results from the beginning of the term until now, the "Raising piggy banks to save" movement has saved 20 million VND to support families of poor women and children in especially difficult circumstances; awarded 12 health insurance cards worth 8,400,000 VND; maintained savings through 18 groups/teams with over 3.7 billion VND, considering loans for 228 members, women from poor, near-poor and difficult households.

In addition, the Campaign “Building a family of 5 no, 3 clean” has truly spread widely in life, contributing to fostering Vietnamese family values ​​among women's union members in the area. As a result, up to now, the whole commune has 5,243 member households meeting 8 criteria of 5 no, 3 clean, reaching 85%, 90 households meeting the criteria of “5 yes, 3 clean”….

In the 2025-2030 term, the Women's Union of Quang Phu commune focuses on building and developing a strong and united organization; effectively implementing patriotic emulation movements, constantly improving the material and spiritual life of women; improving the quality and effectiveness of women's mobilization work in the new situation...

The Executive Committee of the Women's Union of Quang Phu commune for the 2025-2030 term was introduced to the congress.

The Association sets out important targets such as: striving to help 5 households with women escape poverty every year, 3 households escape near poverty, giving priority to poor households headed by women, and supporting capacity building for 2 business households headed by women.

By the end of the term, 80% of women and children who are victims of domestic violence and returned victims of human trafficking will be supported to access at least one social assistance service.

Every year, mobilize and support 20 households to achieve the criteria of sustainable “5 no, 3 clean” families; register and carry out 1-2 projects/tasks to contribute to the construction of new rural areas and civilized urban areas. Strive to develop at least 4 “Digital Women” models by the end of the term…

At the Congress, the Presidium announced the Decision to appoint the Executive Committee of the Women's Union of Quang Phu commune, term I, consisting of 27 members, of which the Standing Committee has 7 members. Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Thuy, Party Committee member, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, was appointed to hold the position of Chairwoman of the Women's Union of Quang Phu commune, term 2025 - 2030.
