Tan Lap Ward Women's Union: Support members in economic development and building happy families

On the morning of October 15, the Women's Union of Tan Lap ward held its 1st Congress for the 2025 - 2030 term.

Attending the congress were representatives of the Provincial Women's Union, ward leaders, and 119 delegates representing more than 7,000 women members in the ward.

In the 2020 - 2025 term, the Women's Union of Tan Lap Ward has innovated the content and methods of operation, focusing on the grassroots level, taking the practical needs of members as the center of implementing activities. Emulation movements and campaigns such as: "Women actively study, work creatively, build happy families", "Build families of 5 no, 3 clean", "Changing the mindset and working methods in economic development of ethnic minority women's households" ... have been implemented synchronously, achieving many positive results.

The Ward Women's Union built 8 livelihood models, supported funding, seedlings, and production materials with a total value of 115 million VND; sponsored 15 orphans with a total amount of 575 million VND; provided start-up capital to 22 women with a total cost of more than 900 million VND... The Executive Committee of the Union is interested in propagating changes in awareness, supporting livelihoods to help women rise up, build prosperous, progressive, and happy families.

In the 2025 - 2030 term, the Women's Union of Tan Lap ward continues to innovate the content and methods of operation in a flexible, creative, and grassroots direction; build a strong union organization, a team of brave, dedicated cadres, and adaptable to new requirements.

New President of Tan Lap Ward Women's Union Nguyen Thi Hai Van gave a speech accepting the assignment.

The Association aims to build a model of a cooperative group for livelihood development applying science and technology by the end of its term; strive for 90% of members and women to use banking applications or e-wallets in payment transactions. Every year, the Women's Union of the ward mobilizes and supports at least 10 families to meet the criteria of "Family of 5 haves, 3 clean"; register to carry out 1 project to contribute to building a civilized urban area...

The Congress announced the Decision to appoint the Executive Committee of the Women's Union of Tan Lap Ward, Term I, consisting of 29 comrades; the Standing Committee consisting of 7 comrades. Comrade Nguyen Thi Hai Van was appointed to hold the position of Chairwoman of the Women's Union of the Ward for the term 2025 - 2030.
