The 17th Conference of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, term 2019

This morning, July 26, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province held the 17th conference, term XII, term 2019 - 2024 to approve the contents of the 13th Provincial Fatherland Front Congress, term 2024 - 2029.

At the conference, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee presented a report on a number of contents of the organization of the 13th Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress such as: the congress program, the draft political report to be submitted to the congress, the personnel plan and the list of personnel expected to participate in the Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee for the 2024 - 2029 term; a report reviewing the activities of the Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, term XII, term 2019 - 2024; a report on the completion of the members of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, term XII, term 2019 - 2024...

The 13th Provincial Fatherland Front Congress, term 2024 - 2029, will be held from August 8 - 9, 2024. The number of delegates attending the official congress is 279, an increase of 27 delegates, equivalent to 10% compared to the previous term.

With the title: "Promoting the tradition and strength of national solidarity, the core political role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; contributing to building a rich and civilized Quang Tri", the draft political report of the congress consists of 2 parts.

Part 1 is the situation of the great national unity bloc and the results of implementing the Resolution of the Provincial Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2019-2024 term. Based on the implementation results, the report draws 5 outstanding results of the term, shortcomings, limitations and causes; 5 lessons learned.

Part 2 outlines the directions, goals, tasks and action programs of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province for the 2024 - 2029 term. It clearly identifies 5 goals, 7 targets and 2 breakthroughs of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province during the term.

The personnel structure of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2024 - 2029 term has 75 members (an increase of 3 members compared to the beginning of the previous term), of which 30 are new members, accounting for 40%; 45 are re-elected, accounting for 60%.

With a high sense of responsibility, democracy and solidarity, the conference unanimously approved the congress agenda, draft political report to be submitted to the congress, personnel plan and list of personnel expected to participate in the Committee, Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee for the 2024 - 2029 term... Agreed to add 2 members to the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee for the 12th term, 2019 - 2024 term.

The Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee received the opinions of delegates at the conference and completed the preparations for the 13th Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress, term 2024 - 2029.
