On the morning of September 30, Mr. Vu Hong Van, Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee (term 2020 - 2025), was appointed by the Politburo to continue holding the position of Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee for the term 2025 - 2030.
Mr. Vu Hong Van was born in 1976, from Hung Yen. Mr. Van was the Deputy Political Commissar of the Mobile Police Command (K02, Ministry of Public Security ). In June 2018, the Minister of Public Security appointed Mr. Van as Director of Dak Lak Provincial Police.
At the end of November 2019, Mr. Van was transferred to become Director of Dong Nai Provincial Police. In early July 2022, when holding the rank of Major General, Mr. Van was transferred and appointed by the Minister of Public Security to hold the position of Director of the Internal Political Security Department.
In August 2024, the Politburo approved Mr. Van to hold the position of Deputy Head of the 13th Central Inspection Commission. In July 2025, Mr. Vu Hong Van was Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Military Party Committee, and Head of the 15th National Assembly Delegation of Dong Nai province.
At the congress, the Politburo also announced the decision to appoint four deputy secretaries of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee (term 2020 - 2025) to continue holding the position of deputy secretary for the term 2025 - 2030, including:
