Journalists Association of provinces and cities in the Southeast region unites and strives to do a good job of propaganda work.

Reporting on the summary of the emulation cluster work in 2023, Ms. Luong Thi Lan, Chief of Office of the Journalists Association of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, said that the Southeast Cluster and Ho Chi Minh City are located in the Southern key economic region, the most active press area in the country, and are also the Cluster with the largest number of members, ranking among the top of the emulation clusters.

The emulation cluster of the Southeast region and Ho Chi Minh City has united and unanimously joined with all levels, sectors and local press agencies to mobilize members and journalists to make efforts to do a good job of information and propaganda work, reflecting many aspects of social life in the fields of economy, culture, society, security and defense.

Acknowledging and evaluating the achievements, typical advanced collectives and individuals in Party building, in production and following Uncle Ho's example, and boldly criticizing negative and existing issues that have received public attention, contributing to the common achievements in economic, socio-cultural, security and defense development of the provinces, cities and the entire Cluster.

The member journalist associations in the Cluster have focused on consolidating and perfecting the Secretariat of the branches in the direction of improving the quality of activities, closely coordinating with the leaders of press agencies in managing and training the ethics of journalist members. The activities of the branches, the Inter-branches and the affiliated Journalists' Clubs have had positive changes, innovating the methods and content of activities in a practical and specific direction, linked to professional activities, well meeting the needs and aspirations of the majority of members.

As a result, all members strictly comply with the policies, laws of the Party, the State and the Association's Charter; the responsibilities, obligations and rights of members are guaranteed; no members violate the Press Law, as well as other regulations on ethics of Vietnamese journalists and the Rules for using social networks...

The conference also discussed and agreed to set out the general direction and tasks for the activities of the Cluster in 2024. Along with that, the launching ceremony to sign the emulation agreement to implement the movement "Building a cultural environment in press agencies" was held...

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Tran Trong Dung, Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association in charge of the South, commended the achievements of the Emulation Cluster of the Southeast region and Ho Chi Minh City.

Mr. Tran Trong Dung requested that in 2024, the Emulation Cluster of Journalists Associations in the Southeast region and Ho Chi Minh City needs to effectively and substantially implement the movement "Building a cultural environment in press agencies", focusing on the issue of journalistic ethics.
