More than 100 officials applied for early retirement

Kinhtedothi- According to the Organizing Committee of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee, up to now, the whole province has 111 cadres who have applied for early retirement, who are eligible to retire according to Decree No. 177/2024/ND-CP and Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP of the Government.

According to statistics from the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee, the whole province has 20 cadres under provincial management; 18 cases requested to resign according to Decree No. 177/2024/ND-CP; 93 cases requested to resign according to Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP.

Currently, the provincial authority has approved 71 cases of leave (Party bloc: 38, State bloc: 33).

Lao Cai province is continuing to compile cases of early retirement according to Decree No. 177/2024/ND-CP and Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP of the Government . After receiving specific instructions from relevant ministries, branches and sectors, it will review, comment and report to competent authorities according to regulations.

At the same time, direct specialized agencies to develop criteria for evaluating cadres, civil servants and public employees in the 2025 organizational arrangement to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for promulgation according to regulations.

In which, it provides orientation and suggests a framework of assessment criteria for cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers in the 2025 organizational arrangement, contributing to streamlining the payroll, restructuring, and improving the quality of cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers, meeting task requirements.
