The President of Guinea-Bissau paid an official visit to Vietnam from September 5 to 8. This is the first visit to Vietnam by a Guinea-Bissau President since the two countries established diplomatic relations in 1973.
At the invitation of General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam , President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam To Lam and his wife, President of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau Umaro Sissoco Embaló and his wife paid an official visit to Vietnam from September 5 to 8, 2024. This is the first visit to Vietnam by a Guinea-Bissau President since the two countries established diplomatic relations in 1973./.
