Director of the Department of Culture of Vietnamese Ethnic Groups Trinh Ngoc Chung speaks at the program

Unlike many other tourist destinations, the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism is not simply a complex of architectural representations, but also a lively space with the participation of daily activities of ethnic minorities from localities across the country. The architecture of stilt houses, communal houses, Khmer pagodas, Cham towers, along with dances, folk songs, folk games and culinary specialties have turned this place into a living cultural museum - where culture is authentically and vividly reproduced with visitors. This is a rare advantage that helps the Cultural Village become a unique educational - experiential - entertaining destination suitable for many subjects: from students, families to international visitors.

Speaking at the program, Director of the Department of Culture of Vietnam's Ethnic Groups Trinh Ngoc Chung expressed his joy at welcoming representatives of prestigious travel companies at today's Famtrip. At the same time, he emphasized that the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism is not only a cultural and historical destination but also a "Common Home" of 54 ethnic groups, a place to preserve and promote the precious traditional cultural values of the nation.

During the experience journey, guests participated in a series of activities: Exploring the Thai and Gia Rai ethnic villages, Khmer pagodas, Cham towers... enjoying xoe dance, gongs, bamboo dancing, team building and cuisine at the foothill restaurant. Travel companies highly appreciated the richness, connectivity and uniqueness compared to many destinations around Hanoi. However, to turn the potential into a truly attractive tourism product for the market, the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism needs the support of tourism businesses. This Famtrip therefore plays an important "bridge" role, helping both sides better understand their needs, expectations, as well as the limitations that need to be improved.
