Connecting technology supply and demand "Innovative startups in smart agricultural production"

On August 8, An Giang Center for Science, Technology and Digital Transformation (Department of Science and Technology of An Giang province) organized a Technology Supply-Demand Connection Session "Innovative Startups in Smart Agricultural Production". Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of An Giang province Le Quoc Cuong and representatives of the Provincial Business Association, Cooperative Union, enterprises, cooperatives... in the province attended.

At the networking session, many advanced technology solutions were introduced: Environmental monitoring sensor system, artificial intelligence (AI) pest management software, automation equipment in smart rice farming... These are highly practical technologies, suitable for local farming conditions, especially for small and medium-sized production models, to improve production efficiency, save costs, labor and optimize resources.

"For innovation to truly come to life, it requires the cooperation of all parties: The State needs to continue to improve policies and create a favorable environment; businesses need to boldly invest in research, development and cooperation with farmers in applying technology. In particular, farmers need to proactively approach, exchange and apply new production methods. Through the connection session, technology suppliers will connect directly with cooperatives, agricultural enterprises and farmers; moving towards appropriate, effective and sustainable technology transfer cooperation" - Comrade Le Quoc Cuong expected./.
