(Dan Tri) - During the 4-day National Day holiday, An Giang led the tourism revenue in the Mekong Delta with 511 billion VND; Can Tho ranked second with over 318 billion VND; followed by Ca Mau tourism with over 126 billion VND.

During the 4-day National Day holiday from August 30 to September 2, many provinces and cities in the Western region recorded impressive tourism figures, demonstrating the attractiveness of this region to tourists.

Accordingly, An Giang province is estimated to welcome 385,276 tourists, an increase of 4.4% over the same period in 2024. Total revenue from tourism also increased sharply, reaching 511 billion VND, an increase of 44.2%.

In Phu Quoc Special Economic Zone alone, the number of visitors is estimated at 81,492, up 7.8% over the same period. Of which, there are 17,997 international visitors, up 15.7%, and 23,379 overnight visitors, up 10.2%.

In Can Tho City, during the 4-day holiday, it is estimated that there will be 256,400 visitors, an increase of 7% over the same period. The total number of guests staying is estimated at 92,820, an increase of 13%. The average room occupancy rate in the whole city is estimated at 60%, with Ninh Kieu and Cai Khe wards reaching about 70%.
