Dong Bang Temple, also known as Duc Vua Temple or King Cha Bat Hai Dong Dinh Temple, is a relic of historical and cultural value, a priceless museum of art and history. The temple is located on the Mai Diem River, formerly in Dao Dong village, Vong Lo commune, Phu Phuong district; now in Dong Bang village, Dong Bang commune, Hung Yen province. The temple is a place to worship King Cha Bat Hai Dong Dinh - who had great merit in pacifying Thuc, defending the country and recruiting people to establish villages and build the country and society from the beginning.

The temple was designed in the style of “front Nhi - back Dinh”, combined with auxiliary works to create a majestic, closed complex. The temple still preserves many ancient sacrificial objects, scrolls, horizontal lacquered boards, parallel sentences, and large inscriptions. Dong Bang Temple was ranked as a national monument in 1986. The traditional festival of Dong Bang Temple was included in the list of national intangible cultural heritage in 2016.

Swimming competition is a unique cultural feature in the traditional festival of Dong Bang temple.

The 2025 Dong Bang Temple Traditional Festival will be held from October 11 to 17 (from August 20 to 26 of the lunar calendar). During the festival, people and visitors from all over the world will participate in incense offering, worshiping and exciting sports activities such as swimming, wrestling, tug of war, chess, and volleyball.
