Vu Thu Commune Veterans Association: Striving for 100% of branches and members to successfully complete their tasks

On the morning of October 11, the Veterans Association of Vu Thu commune held the 1st Congress of Delegates, term 2025 - 2030.

During the past term, the cadres and members of the War Veterans Association in the commune have united, strived, proactively implemented and completed well the tasks assigned by the Association and the Party Committee. 7/7 targets set for the term were completed. The Commune War Veterans Association focused on propaganda and mobilizing members to raise the awareness of self-reliance, self-improvement, helping each other develop the economy , improve their lives and carry out charitable activities well. The association secured loans from banks for members with an amount of nearly 11 billion VND for economic development. Currently, the rate of poor and near-poor households of War Veterans Association members is only 0.23%. Cadres and members of the War Veterans Association have supported 750 million VND and donated ^1,323m2. land, contributing hundreds of working days to build new rural areas. Every year, 95% - 98% of the families of war veterans' association members in the commune achieve the title of "Cultural Family".

In the 2025 - 2030 term, the Association of War Veterans in Vu Thu commune continues to encourage war veterans to uphold patriotism, self-reliance, help each other in economic development, improve material and spiritual life; carry out charity work well, care for and protect the legitimate and legal rights and interests of war veterans; actively participate in giving opinions on building the Party and government, educating revolutionary traditions for the younger generation, contributing to building Vu Thu commune to develop more and more; strive to have 100% of branches and members fulfill their tasks well every year.

On this occasion, the Association of War Veterans of Vu Thu commune organized a campaign to support people affected by storms and floods.
