Audiences are fed up with criticizing 'Tao Quan 2024' for being bland and the advertisements are too obvious.

The program Meeting at the end of the year - Tao Quan 2024 aired on the evening of the 30th of Tet (February 9) attracted the attention of a large audience when there was a "change of blood" of the entire cast of veteran artists playing the roles of Tao such as Chi Trung, Quang Thang, Van Dung, Tu Long... The script also no longer has the motif of Taos reporting to the court but is replaced by the Jade Emperor's incognito trip to the lower world.

While the show was airing, mixed reactions appeared on social media. Most viewers said they felt disappointed and unfamiliar with the absence of familiar faces such as Xuan Bac, Cong Ly, Chi Trung, Quang Thang, Van Dung, and Tu Long.
