At the workshop, delegates focused on discussing five major groups of issues: forecasting the international and domestic context of climate change; the role of science and technology in green transformation and innovation; building an innovation ecosystem and supporting institutions; practical models of green transformation in industries, localities and enterprises; key solutions to realize Resolution 57-NQ/TW and Conclusion 81-KL/TW of the Central Committee.

Speaking at the workshop, Comrade Huynh Thanh Dat, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, emphasized: “Developing science, technology and innovation is a decisive factor in helping Vietnam achieve double-digit growth. Science and technology also help Vietnam become a modern industrialized country by 2030 and a developed, high-income country by 2045.”
According to comrade Huynh Thanh Dat, green transformation is a prerequisite to improve national competitiveness, protect the environment and ensure rapid and sustainable development.
