According to Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang, the project is located at an important trade gateway, converging all factors of development space and connectivity, will not only serve the Ministry of Public Security but also help Vietnam have an Asian-class stadium to organize sports and entertainment events.

"This will be a center connecting sports, culture and tourism of the country and the region. The stadium is designed to exceed international standards for major sporting events such as the Olympics, ASIAD, and World Cup," said the Minister of Public Security.

General Secretary To Lam (sixth from left) together with Party and State leaders; leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of National Defense, leaders of Hung Yen province and representatives of the general contractor pressed the button to start construction of PVF Stadium.

The stadium is located in a 92-hectare sports and service complex, including an outdoor square and a modern parking lot of 18 hectares. The outstanding feature of PVF Stadium is the giant dome design that can be completely opened and closed in just 12-20 minutes, referenced from the model and technology of AT&T Stadium. This is also the first time that dome opening and closing technology has been applied in Vietnam.

The pitch uses hybrid modular grass technology, similar to Wembley Stadium (UK) and Singapore National Stadium. This technology combines natural and artificial grass to increase durability, quick drainage, withstand heavy loads and convenient maintenance.
In addition, the stadium also has a VIP area to serve high-end customers with panoramic balconies, high-class culinary services and separate entrances to ensure privacy. The stadium also integrates a large LED screen system, modern sound and light for live television, bringing a vivid visual experience to the audience.

We will also pay special attention to sustainability, environmental protection, landscape preservation, and ensuring absolute safety for workers."

Upon completion, this sports and service complex will become a new symbol of Vietnamese sports and the largest sports complex built in 13 years since the My Dinh National Sports Complex came into operation in 2002.
