The draw ceremony for the men's football group of the 33rd SEA Games took place this afternoon (October 19) in Thailand. According to the draw results, group A includes the host team U22 Thailand, Cambodia and Timor Leste.
Group B includes the U22 teams of Vietnam, Malaysia and Laos, while Group C includes the teams of Indonesia, Myanmar, Philippines and Singapore.

According to Southeast Asian media, Group B of the U22 Vietnam team is the most difficult group at this year's SEA Games. CNN Indonesia wrote: "U22 Vietnam must face a tense battle with U22 Malaysia in Group B".
