Speaking at the opening ceremony, Senior General Luong Tam Quang said that the PVF stadium construction project located in the People's Public Security sports complex is an important cultural and sports institution, contributing to realizing the aspiration for peak development of People's Public Security sports in particular and Vietnamese sports in general.
The project is expected to create more motivation to contribute to the comprehensive development of Vietnamese people, contributing to the goal of building a strong and prosperous country according to the Party's policy.

"This will also be a place for people to participate in physical activities, improve their health, and make the movement of the whole population exercising following the example of great Uncle Ho a habit and daily lifestyle. Thereby, contributing to strengthening the close relationship between the police force and the people," Minister Luong Tam Quang emphasized.
Top sports facility in Asia, can host World Cup matches
At the ceremony, Mr. Pham Thieu Hoa, Chairman of Vinhomes Joint Stock Company, said that PVF Stadium is oriented to become a top sports facility in Asia, located in a 92-hectare sports-service complex, with a capacity of 60,000 seats, meeting FIFA standards, and qualified to host major international matches such as the World Cup.
"This is also the first stadium in Vietnam to be equipped with a modern automatic retractable roof, referenced from the model and technology of AT&T Stadium (USA) - the stadium with the largest retractable roof in the world today.
The outstanding feature of PVF Stadium is the giant dome design that can be opened and closed completely in just 12 - 20 minutes - a technology applied for the first time in Vietnam," said Mr. Pham Thieu Hoa.

The stadium has an area of over 55,000 m², a capacity of 60,000 seats, including 4 main stands A, B, C, D and specialized areas: technical, security, broadcast control center, press, player area, VIP area, service - cuisine.
Along with that, the stadium has an outdoor square and a modern 18-hectare parking lot.
The roof uses advanced PTFE material, which has the ability to transmit natural light, prevent heat absorption, block UV rays and reduce noise, helping the interior space to be cool, save energy and maintain outstanding durability over time.
The field surface uses hybrid modular grass technology - a combination of natural grass and artificial fibers, helping to increase durability, drain water quickly, withstand heavy loads, and facilitate maintenance.
The stadium is integrated with a large LED screen system, modern sound and light for live broadcasting, bringing a vivid visual experience to the audience.
