Disciplinary reprimand for Chief Inspector of Kien Giang province and Chairman of People's Committee of Phu Quoc city

Specifically, at the meeting of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee, disciplinary action was considered against 3 party members according to Conclusion Notice No. 1113-TB/TU, dated July 3, 2023 of the Standing Committee of the Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee.

Accordingly, in his role as Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Quoc City, Mr. Huynh Quang Hung is responsible for the violations and shortcomings in the leadership, direction, and organization of land management and use. His shortcomings and violations have affected the reputation of the Party organization, the government, and him personally.

With the above violations, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee decided to discipline Mr. Huynh Quang Hung with a reprimand.

Regarding Mr. Tran Chien Thang - Party Secretary, Chief Inspector of Kien Giang province (former member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Quoc City) in his role as former member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Quoc City, Mr. Thang committed violations and shortcomings in the field of responsibility, leading to violations in land management and use.

Mr. Thang's shortcomings and violations have affected the reputation of the Party organization, the government and himself. Therefore, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee has decided to discipline Mr. Thang with a reprimand.

Mr. Truong Thanh Tan - Party Cell Secretary, Chief Inspector of Phu Quoc City (former Party Cell Secretary, Head of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Phu Quoc City), in his role as former Party Cell Secretary, Head of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Phu Quoc City, in leading, directing, operating and performing his functions and duties, Mr. Tan had shortcomings and violations in advising the City People's Committee on land management and use, leading to violations.

Mr. Tan's shortcomings and violations have affected the reputation of the Party organization, the government and himself. Therefore, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee has decided to discipline Mr. Tan with a reprimand.
