On the afternoon of October 16, Lam Dong Provincial Police received, launched and put into operation the Lam Dong Provincial Centralized Security and Safety Monitoring Center, serving digital transformation, socio -economic development and responding to network information security incidents.

Lam Dong Province's Centralized Cyber ​​Security Monitoring Center (SOC) operates with the goal of proactively monitoring, detecting and providing early warnings of cyber security and information security risks and incidents, and being ready to respond to incidents.

The center also protects the information technology infrastructure and shared data of Lam Dong province, data of agencies, businesses, and people, and deploys solutions and measures to create a safe and reliable digital environment to promote the economy and society.

To maximize its features and effectiveness, Mr. Ho Van Muoi - Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee - requested that the Lam Dong Provincial Centralized Security and Safety Monitoring Center must be operated continuously 24/7, without interruption or rest.

Management and operating agencies must proactively research, update and apply advanced technologies in the world to improve the ability to forecast, detect early and automate the handling of threats.

Lam Dong Provincial Police also launched the Cyber ​​Information Incident Response Team and appointed Mr. Huynh Ngoc Liem - Deputy Director of the Provincial Police - as team leader.
