Being taught directly by the artist, meticulously correcting the rhythm, the melodies and the words, the students eagerly immersed themselves in each lyric and melody. The passionate eyes and the lips humming to the rhythm showed that folk songs are not strange to the young generation, when taught and felt with all their hearts.

Student Hoang Quynh Tram Anh (class 5E, Cuong Gian 1 Primary School) shared: I feel very happy and meaningful when being taught by artist Trong Tuan, practicing singing Vi and Giam folk songs; from that, it helps me understand more about each melody and love the songs of my homeland more.

At Nguyen Trai Secondary School (Tien Dien Commune), the school has established a club for students with talents, strengths and a love for folk songs. Every month, the club organizes activities, and teachers have selected new performances with content and rhythms suitable for their age. With the love for folk songs and the guidance of teachers, the members of the club have made more and more progress, learned many melodies and participated in many meaningful playgrounds for students.

The Vi and Giam folk song club in schools has discovered and nurtured many young talents, contributing to spreading and transmitting the intangible cultural heritage of humanity. Teacher Nguyen Trong Tho - Vice Principal of Nguyen Trai Secondary School said: "The Vi and Giam folk song singing movement has been spread by teachers and students of the school for a long time through competitions and art programs. The Vi and Giam folk song club of the school has been in operation for 2 years but has attracted a large number of students. This shows that the attraction and values of folk songs still have special meaning for students".

In the homeland of the great poet Nguyen Du, where every lullaby and sweet song of grandmother and mother permeated the childhood of many generations, and those melodies continue to resonate in every classroom today.

With the desire to help students not forget the traditional folk songs and verses of their homeland, over the years, schools have organized many meaningful and attractive activities. Folk song clubs and verse clubs have been established as places for children to express their talents and passion. These activities not only help children love traditional arts more, but also contribute to nurturing their souls, teaching them to appreciate the cultural values that their ancestors left behind.

Teacher Nguyen Thi Thu Hien - Head of the Youth Union of Cuong Gian 1 Primary School said: "The school has integrated the teaching of folk songs through music lessons, extracurricular activities, and practicing folk songs for art programs to celebrate major holidays such as November 20, the opening day... with the hope that the folk songs will gradually permeate and help the students here love and understand the good traditional values."

In recent times, implementing Official Letter 5215 of the Ministry of Education and Training and resolutions of the People's Council of Ha Tinh province on heritage preservation, many schools have actively included Vi and Giam folk songs in the local education program. In particular, the fact that artisans come to each school to pass on each song and verse is not only a way to spread Vi and Giam folk songs among young people but has also become an attractive playground, helping them love traditional music more, confidently express themselves and discover hidden talents within themselves, through which artisans also discover talented individuals to pass on the heritage of their ancestors.

Meritorious Artisan Nguyen Trong Tuan could not hide his excitement when the Ministry of Education and Training issued guidelines on inviting artisans and artists to schools to participate in educational activities in general schools, imparting good values, aiming at improving the quality of comprehensive education in morality - intelligence - physical fitness - aesthetics. This is also a way for artisans to be taught and to find talented individuals with folk songs in the future.

It can be said that bringing Vi and Giam folk songs into schools not only helps children love their homeland's songs more, but also cultivates in them a love of culture and national pride. That is how the seeds of folk songs are planted so that they will continue to bloom in the future on a land rich in cultural identity.
