Talking with Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Huu Lap, Political Commissar of Battalion 7 (Army Officer School 1), who was assigned the responsibility of Head of the Presentation Team, we learned that at the celebration, the Organizing Committee selected 13 comrades to participate in the presentation team, coming from 3 regions: North-Central-South. All members were carefully selected through many levels. Among them, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Huu Lap was honored to give a presentation in all 3 recent important events, which are the 70th Anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory; the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South, National Reunification and this A80 mission. One special thing is that all 3 times he was chosen to read the opening of the parade.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Huu Lap shared that, in order to complete the task, he and his teammates in the Narration Team were gathered early and underwent many days of intensive training with strict regulations at the Artillery-Missile Command Headquarters. Here, he and the members had to practice each technique such as breathing, holding the breath, and emphasizing and pronouncing words. Initially, each individual would be instructed to practice alone, and when they were stable, they would start practicing in pairs to coordinate their accents between regions; then, practice together before joining the general formation.
To maintain a pure voice, the members almost do not use stimulants, especially alcohol, beer, cigarettes and spicy foods. “The job seems simple, but the members and I have to practice narration from morning to night, some days until 11 pm, everyone is tired. But thinking about the sacred meaning of the mission, everyone and I encourage each other to strive to overcome all difficulties, ensure the best voice, the highest rhythm to blend with the footsteps of the parade, both creating a majestic and solemn atmosphere. And in the end, we did not disappoint everyone's trust,” Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Huu Lap emotionally expressed.
Like Mr. Lap, for Major Tran Thi Kim Thu, an employee of the Music Department (Army Ceremonial Group, General Staff), this is also the third time she has had the honor to participate in reading the commentary at the important ceremony. Having studied vocal music and having hosted many events of the unit, Thu has many advantages in expressing her reading voice. Major Tran Thi Kim Thu shared her secret: "Reading the commentary is like singing, you must have a good breath to perform the techniques of emphasizing, going high, going low. Before practicing, my team and I had to spend 30 minutes practicing breathing and practicing our voices."
Compared to the two "seniors" above, Senior Lieutenant Le Ngoc Han, an employee of the Propaganda Department, Political Department, Ho Chi Minh City Command, is younger in both age and experience. However, Han is not inferior in emotion and determination. Le Ngoc Han shared that in her reading voice, she carried the feelings of the Southern people sent to the North. In addition, Han was also empowered by her grandmother's wish before she passed away, which was for her granddaughter to join A80. Therefore, despite many difficulties due to being far from home, far from her young children, and the different weather, Han tried to overcome all disadvantages, pressure, and anxiety to excellently complete her mission.
The three typical faces mentioned above, along with other members of the group, had a truly sublime moment at Ba Dinh Square on the morning of the historic September 2nd with their emotional voices, spreading love, and bearing the characteristics of all regions across the country. Their mission was silent, their faces were rarely seen, but the contribution of the Narration Group was not small.
