Leaders of the Ministry of Public Security congratulate the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha on the occasion of Buddha's birthday, Buddhist calendar 2568.

On May 20, 2024, in Hanoi, Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security, led a working delegation of the Ministry to visit and congratulate the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha and monks, nuns, and Buddhists on the occasion of the Buddha's birthday, Buddhist calendar 2568 (Solar calendar 2024).

Receiving the delegation were Most Venerable Thich Thanh Nhieu, Standing Member of the Council of Monks, Permanent Vice President of the Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, and Venerables in the Council of Monks and Executive Council.

On behalf of the Central Party Committee of Public Security and the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang presented a flower basket and sent best wishes to the Venerables in the Council of Patriarchs, the Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha and all monks, nuns, and Buddhists nationwide to celebrate Buddha's birthday 2568 (2024) with peace, joy, and happiness.
