Lao Cai creates new jobs for nearly 25,000 workers

Since the beginning of the year, Lao Cai province has created new jobs for nearly 25,000 workers, reaching nearly 83% of the yearly plan.

In September 2025, the whole province created new jobs for 2,083 workers; in the first 9 months of 2025, the whole province created new jobs for nearly 25,000 workers, reaching 82.88% of the plan.

Also in the first 9 months of 2025, the whole province shifted 6,299 workers from agriculture to non-agriculture, reaching nearly 80% of the plan; exported 701 workers to work abroad, of which 216 were in Japan, 166 were in Taiwan, 265 were in Korea, and 54 were in other markets.

To achieve the 2025 target of creating new jobs for 30,000 workers and 7,000 workers shifting to non-agricultural sectors, Lao Cai province continues to direct the strengthening of propaganda and dissemination of policies to support workers studying and working abroad; review the demand for labor export and the demand for labor export loans to promptly have support solutions.
