Comrade Nguyen Dinh Trung was appointed as Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee.

Comrade Le Minh Hung, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organizing Committee, presented the decision to comrade Nguyen Dinh Trung.

Also attending were representatives of the Central Party Committees, leaders of Dak Lak province and Hue city.

At the conference, the Central Organizing Committee announced the Politburo's Decision appointing comrade Nguyen Dinh Trung, member of the Party Central Committee, former Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee, to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

Former Hue City Party Secretary Nguyen Van Phuong presented flowers to congratulate new City Party Secretary Nguyen Dinh Trung.

The Politburo also decided to transfer and assign comrade Nguyen Van Phuong, former Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee, to hold the position of Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee.

In his assignment speech, comrade Le Minh Hung, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Committee highly appreciated the capacity, courage and experience of comrade Nguyen Dinh Trung.

Accordingly, comrade Nguyen Dinh Trung is a basically trained officer, having worked in many positions in Dak Nong and Dak Lak. In every position, he has completed the assigned tasks well.

Comrade Le Minh Hung suggested that the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and leaders at all levels of Hue city promote the spirit of solidarity and unity, creating conditions for the new Secretary and the leadership to bring Hue to strong development, worthy of the status of a centrally-run city.

New Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Trung received congratulations from the Standing Committee of the Hue City Party Committee.

Noting two tasks are to urgently organize, disseminate and immediately implement the Action Program of the City Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term; promptly put the Resolution of the Congress into practice; promulgate working regulations, assign tasks; arrange cadres after the Congress to ensure democracy, objectivity, and proper procedures, create consensus and promote the spirit of solidarity, innovation and creativity, especially in the context of implementing two-level local government.

In his acceptance speech, Comrade Nguyen Dinh Trung expressed his deep gratitude to the Politburo and the Secretariat for entrusting him with the important responsibility of leading the Hue City Party Committee - a heroic homeland with a rich revolutionary tradition, a land with a rich cultural heritage and people full of love. He emphasized that this is both a great honor and a heavy responsibility, given the new requirements and tasks of the City Party Committee.

The new Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee pledged to unite with the city's leadership and make efforts to lead and direct the successful implementation of socio-economic development goals, ensuring national defense and security in the direction of "Green - smart - rich in identity", contributing worthily to the revolutionary cause of the Party and nation in the new era.
