Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong, Secretary of Hue City Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term, was transferred and appointed to hold the position of Secretary of Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term.

At the conference, the Central Organizing Committee announced the Politburo's Decision on the transfer and appointment of personnel to hold the position of Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term for comrade Nguyen Van Phuong, Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee, term 2025-2030, to hold the position of Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong, born on December 29, 1970, hometown in Phong Son commune, Phong Dien district, Thua Thien Hue province, now Phong Thai ward, Hue city, has professional qualifications: Civil and Industrial Construction Engineer, Bachelor of Mathematics, Master of Economics; political theory level: Advanced.

He has held the following positions: Deputy Director of the Department of Transport, Chairman of the People's Committee of Huong Tra district, Director of the Department of Planning and Investment of Thua Thien Hue province.

Mr. Phuong has held the position of Vice Chairman of Thua Thien Hue Provincial People's Committee since May 2016.

In June 2021, Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong held the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province, now Hue city.

On October 3, 2025, at the first meeting, the Hue City Party Executive Committee, term 2025 - 2030, elected Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong to hold the position of Hue City Party Secretary for the term 2025 - 2030.
