A series of district leaders in Thanh Hoa were expelled from the Party.

(Dan Tri) - A series of leaders of Quang Xuong district, Thanh Hoa province have just been expelled from the Party due to their involvement in a case of abusing their positions and powers while performing official duties.

On November 29, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee announced the results of its review and disciplinary action against six party members who are leaders and former leaders of Quang Xuong district.

The disciplined individuals include Tran Van Cong, former Chairman of the District People's Committee; Nguyen Dinh Du and Ha The Anh, both Vice Chairmen of the District People's Committee; Chu Duc Khuong, Head of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment; Le Dinh Khoa, Head of the Department of Economics and Infrastructure; and Ma Van Thanh, former Head of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment.

Among the above-mentioned people are Mr. Tran Van Cong, Nguyen Dinh Du, Chu Duc Khuong, Le Dinh Khoa, and Ma Van Thanh, who have been prosecuted for criminal responsibility for the crime of "Abusing position and power while performing official duties."

Mr. Ha The Anh has been prosecuted for criminal responsibility for lack of responsibility causing serious consequences.
