Khanh Hoa Provincial Forest Protection Force: Discovered 9 violations of illegal trading, transportation, and storage of forest products

According to data from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Khanh Hoa province, in October 2025, the work of preventing and combating smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods was vigorously implemented by the provincial Forest Protection force. As a result, 9 violations of illegal trading, transportation and storage of forest products were discovered. The seized exhibits and means of violation included: 2,017m3 of round timber; 1,011m3 of sawn timber of the ordinary type and 1 car. 11 violations were administratively handled, of which 3 cases were fined and 8 cases were confiscated exhibits and means of violation. Through the handling of administrative violations, 0.414m3 of round timber; 2,765m3 of ordinary sawn timber; 11 motorbikes; 1 chainsaw, 3 trailers; 1.5 sterels of firewood and 5 ornamental plants were confiscated; 4.5 million VND was paid to the state budget.
