Macbook Air M3 on sale in Vietnam, starting price nearly 28 million VND

Apple's new MacBook Air M3 generation will be officially delivered to users in Vietnam on April 15 if ordered through the Apple Store online. However, before that, some authorized dealers (AARs) have started delivering the device early to customers who have participated in the pre-order program. The product will be available in 2 screen sizes of 13 inches and 15 inches when it is on genuine shelves.

According to the representative of CellphoneS, the MacBook Air 13 inch M3 with a reference price of 27.99 million VND for the standard version is a suitable choice for daily office tasks but still ensures performance to serve graphic work, light editing. The system identifies the Macbook Air product line equipped with the M3 chip as suitable for customers who are office workers, media companies or content creators.

Versions with 512 GB of memory or upgraded to 16 GB of RAM or more, which also have a default configuration of 10 GPUs, will be a special feature this year, allowing users to choose versions with more configuration upgrades than the previous generation. " The 16 GB RAM and 24 GB RAM versions are expected to be available on system shelves around the end of April ," said a representative of CellphoneS.

MacBook Air M3 retains the design of the previous generation Air M2.

According to the Mobile World retail system, the number of customers pre-ordering the MacBook Air M3 has increased slightly compared to the previous version that was released at the same time. In particular, the number of users pre-ordering the compact 13-inch version is higher than the 15-inch version.

On April 10-11, this system began delivering goods to customers who ordered early, along with some incentives that helped the price of the standard 13-inch MacBook Air version to be 1.4 million VND lower than the listed price.

Specifically, the MacBook Air M3 is being sold at the same price for all 4 color options: Silver, Gray, Dark Blue, Gold. In which, the 13-inch 8 GB/256 GB version has a final price of 26.39 million VND (listed 27.99 million VND); the 13-inch 8 GB/512 GB machine has an actual price of 30.99 million VND, 2 million VND lower than the listed price.

The 15-inch MacBook Air M3 with 8 GB RAM will have two storage options of 256 GB and 512 GB with final prices of 31.39 million VND and 35.89 million VND respectively. The highest configuration version of 16 GB/512 GB is currently listed at 42.99 million VND and will be 40.89 million VND after applying the promotion.

Recently, Apple has adjusted the price reduction by 3 million for the 13-inch Macbook Air M2 series, priced from only 24.99 million for the standard 8 GB RAM/256 GB SSD version. Notably, Apple has defaulted the graphics processor with 8 GPUs (previously 7 GPUs) for newly manufactured M2 chip machines since March 2024. With both price reduction and hardware upgrade, the product has attracted users' attention and increased sales at some dealer systems.
