(CLO) Towards the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025), the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Journalists Association (April 21, 1950 - April 21, 2025), the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Journalists Association have agreed to organize the Spring Press Festival At Ty 2025 together with the Long Tong Festival ATK Dinh Hoa on January 9 and 10 (February 6-7), At Ty at ATK Dinh Hoa Square, in Pho Nui residential group, Cho Chu Town.

The Spring Press Festival has been organized by the Provincial Journalists Association as a tradition for many years on the occasion of the coming of Tet and spring to introduce to a large number of readers and people special Tet newspaper publications of press and propaganda agencies of the province and the whole country. 2025 is the year marking a special milestone of the Vietnamese press, celebrating the 100th anniversary of the birth of the press. As if to mark that special mark, since the end of last year, the Provincial Journalists Association has proactively developed a plan to organize the Spring Press Festival and proactively discussed with the leaders of Dinh Hoa district to organize this meaningful activity.

Along with the glorious history of Vietnam's revolutionary journalism, Dinh Hoa ( Thai Nguyen ) is honored to be the "cradle" of revolutionary journalism, the place that marked the birth of many major press agencies, such as: Vietnam Journalists Association, Nhan Dan Newspaper, People's Army Newspaper...

Comrade Pham Quang Sang, Vice Chairman of Dinh Hoa District People's Committee said: The district is very happy that the Provincial Journalists Association chose to organize the Spring Newspaper Festival together with the Long Tong Festival at Dinh Hoa ATK this At Ty spring. We will create all conditions to coordinate with the Provincial Journalists Association to organize a space for displaying and introducing newspapers, contributing to enriching the activities welcoming the new spring in the revolutionary homeland.

Information from the Organizing Committee, the Long Tong Festival and the Spring Newspaper Festival of At Ty 2025 will be held on February 6 and 7, 2025 (ie January 9 and 10, At Ty year) at ATK Dinh Hoa Square. The Long Tong Festival will feature activities: camping competition, rice cake pounding competition, rice planting competition, crossbow shooting competition, tug of war competition, stick pushing competition, con tossing game, stilt walking... Along with folk games, cultural preservation activities: walking on a balance beam, blindfolded goat catching, toad pulling, chess, soccer. In particular, the art program "Spring colors in the homeland of ATK Dinh Hoa" will take place at 8:00 p.m. on February 6, 2025 (ie January 9) at the main stage of the Festival; campfire night, tea culture introduction...

The Provincial Journalists Association's coordination with the Provincial Library to organize a press exhibition space at the Long Tong Festival has created a new feature of this year's Festival. The Spring Press Festival space will introduce special newspaper publications welcoming the spring of At Ty from press agencies in the province and the country; an area to introduce electronic newspapers; an area to display and introduce books celebrating the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam ; an area to look up and read electronic newspapers...

ATK Dinh Hoa Square is where the 2025 Spring Newspaper Festival and ATK Dinh Hoa Long Tong Festival will take place.

Up to this point, the preparation of conditions for organizing the press space at the Long Tong Festival has been basically completed. Comrade Nguyen Bao Lam, member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association, Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Journalists Association informed: For many years, the Spring Press Festival organized by the Provincial Journalists Association in the first days of the new year has created a joyful and exciting atmosphere for journalists. Especially this year, the Spring Press Festival is organized together with the Long Tong Festival in Dinh Hoa towards the 100th anniversary of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, which will bring a fresh air to journalists and also the joy of the organizers.

With the contribution of the provincial press and propaganda agencies, central press agencies located in the area and especially Dinh Hoa district, the preparation work has been basically completed. The Spring Press Festival will bring to readers and people a press space with many identities, with a full range of special press publications introduced, such as: provincial press space, central press space, magazines, newsletters of departments, branches and sectors; book introduction space to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam; electronic newspaper space, virtual studio simulation, tea drinking area, newspaper reading area...

This is an activity to kick off the new spring, hoping to bring a positive energy to journalists and members to be creative in producing high-quality journalistic works to serve readers and participate in journalism competitions organized by the province and the central government. At the same time, it will spread information about the socio-economic development of the locality, the province, and the country to the general public.
