
This is the unit that the Vietnam Coast Guard selected to hold the congress first to gain experience for the entire force's youth union. Colonel Bui Dai Hai, Deputy Chief of Political Affairs of the Vietnam Coast Guard attended and directed the congress.
During the past term, the Youth Union of the 21st Naval Division affirmed its pioneering and leading role in all aspects of work. Youth Union members actively responded to the emulation movements: "Army Youth marching into science and technology", "Coast Guard Youth cultivating virtue, training talent, being proactive, creative, worthy of Uncle Ho's soldiers in the new era".
Thereby, many effective models and initiatives have been deployed, contributing to improving training capacity, law enforcement at sea and propaganda to protect sea and island sovereignty .

The congress focused on discussing solutions to improve the quality of Youth Union activities; promote the vanguard role of young people in training, combat readiness, technical innovation, building a healthy cultural environment; and strengthen management and ideological orientation in the face of strong impacts from social networks.
The youth of Squadron 21 are determined to continue mastering modern weapons and equipment; training their mettle and tactics; taking the lead in digital transformation and being ready to complete all tasks well, contributing to firmly protecting the sovereignty of the sea, islands and sacred continental shelf of the Fatherland; taking the lead in search and rescue at sea.
The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the 21st Fleet's Youth Union for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 7 people.
* Previously, on the evening of September 29, the Youth Union of the 21st Naval Division coordinated with its sister unit to organize a youth discussion to welcome the congress; at the same time, launched a fundraising campaign to support the Cuban people, with the amount collected being more than 2.6 million VND.
