The mountainous and watery region is likened to Ha Long Bay on land in Thanh Hoa.

With a system of more than 20 large and small islands, the lake surface in Ben En National Park is likened to the Ha Long Bay on land of Thanh Hoa.

Ben En National Park (located in the districts of Nhu Thanh and Nhu Xuan, Thanh Hoa province), is about 45 km southwest of Thanh Hoa city and 200 km from Hanoi . This place is considered a "Ha Long Bay on land" in Thanh land, with majestic natural space and wild scenery.

This place has a unique ecosystem with vast primeval forests, vast lakes with more than 20 large and small islands. Interspersed among the National Park are still many villages of indigenous people.

In 1977, when the Muc River was dammed and filled with water, Ben En Lake was formed, and aquatic resources became rich and diverse. Ben En Lake has many delicious fish species that have become specialties such as: catfish, catfish, na fish, and mudfish...

Mr. Le Cong Cuong - Director of Ben En National Park said that Ben En National Park was established in 1992. Every year, this place attracts about 25,000 tourists to visit and experience.

“Over the years, we have always determined that tourism development must be associated with the value of nature conservation and people's livelihoods. This will create sustainable development, in harmony between nature and people,” Mr. Cuong shared.
